How do I order?Simply go to our online shop and let us know how you would like your meat cut up and place your order. We will be in touch to confirm the order, delivery date and time.
-
When can we get our meat?At the moment it will take three weeks between placing your order and delivery. That may change as we adjust to this new way of doing business. The main reason for this timeframe is that all our meat will be butchered to order to ensure its fresh and right for you.
-
Where do you deliver? We deliver to Clunes and surrounding areas. Cost for local delivery is $5, surrounding areas is $8. We know many of our customers live further afield, so if in doubt call us. We may be able to make something work.
-
We don't have a credit/debit card. Can we pay some other way?Yes, just call us on 0428 586222 or email hello@longviewfarmandmeats.com and we'll work out an alternative. We'll try not to make this any harder than it needs to be - we promise.
-
How will Long View meat be packaged? We will package meat just like we usually do when we are in the shop. If you want it packaged in a way that might help you (such as portions), just let us know.
-
Will you have beef soon?Yes. We are just sorting out how we will do beef packs and will let you know as soon as it is available. If you are keen for a beef pack just send us a 'hello' and we'll contact you so you don't miss out.
-
Do you provide dog bones?Your dogs mustn't miss out. Let us know what your dog likes and we'll add dog bones (complimentary) to your order. If your dog needs something special and we don't currently offer it, call us anyway and we'll see what can be done.
-
Will you have sausages soon?We don't have them currently but as soon as it's feasible we will.
-
Will you be opening the shop again?Yes. We've switched to order and delivery temporarily for three reasons. We have several family members who are at risk of coronovirus. We need a way to limit contact and ensure quality, so we are only using our meat. We need a way to stay in business so we can keep our staff on, and re-build our business in the future. While we are still reeling from how fast this has happened, we are drawing comfort from the knowledge that by delivering to you instead of having our shop open, we are also encouraging you to stay safe. We love Clunes. We love the life we've built with our family in this clever, quirky, character-filled town. Let's all beat this virus together!
